Wellness Retreats:
Adults, Elders & Families
Returning Home Society hosts separate wellness retreats for Adults, Elders, and Families, centered on a pathway of healing and shared support. Each retreat and journey begins with grounding and welcome, leading into sacred Sharing Circles guided by trained facilitators and land-based teachings.
Throughout the entire event, respected Elders remain present to share their knowledge and lived experiences, as well as offer one-on-one support for anyone seeking a private conversation. Our trauma-informed space ensures the pace, activities, and topics are always adjusted to be respectful of the unique needs of Adults, Elders, and Families alike, concluding with reflection and a peaceful farewell.
To ensure everyone can focus fully on their well-being, all meals and accommodations are provided, and the retreat is offered completely free of charge to participants.
We invite you to explore this supportive environment to connect with the land and one another.

What to Expect

Circles
Our Sharing Circles offer a gentle, trauma-informed space for Adults, Elders, and Families to find connection. Guided by compassionate, trained facilitators, these gatherings may begin or conclude with sacred prayers and traditional songs. Within the circle, you are invited into a safe rhythm of courageous sharing, deep listening, and peaceful quiet presence, allowing everyone to be heard and honored exactly as they are.

Elders
Each retreat is supported by two trusted Elders who are present throughout the gathering. They offer cultural guidance, gentle teachings, and one-on-one time for anyone who needs someone to talk to. Elders help hold the space with care, ensuring Adults, Elders, and Families feel seen, heard, and supported.

Workshops & Cultural Knowledge
Each retreat includes workshops and cultural knowledge that are shaped around the needs of the group. We welcome different cultural activities at every gathering, such as song, drumming, language, craft, or ceremony, depending on who is present and what feels right. Our facilitators are knowledgeable and experienced, offering teachings on culture, history, self-care, and healing practices. No two retreats are exactly the same; sessions are adjusted for Adults, Elders, and Families so that everyone can learn, share, and participate in ways that feel safe and meaningful.
